I've taken out all of the Bose stuff except the processor and the pac harness adapter. I think the processor could be messing with my new setup. Im not sure. I have all the new speakers going to a 4 channel amp. Im getting an occasional cut out of those speakers. I've checked for bare wires. Nothing. Could the processor be interfering? Can it just be unplugged instead of bypassed?
The processor isn't connected to anything if the bose speakers are removed and the head unit preamp is directly connected to the power amplifier and the amp is connected to the speakers. How is yours connected?

I have all of the new speakers running to an amp and the amp rcas going to a Kenwood head unit. I've still got the roemvet pac adapter in place though.

What does it do then? It seems like you bypassed everything except for maybe battery power. The Bose processor may still be turning on. I would disconnect it.

I can't speak for the PAC unit, but when I gutted and rewired all my speakers, I used the Axxess adaptor.
It comes in 2 parts. one that retains the power function ( and non powered speakers but I am not using those wires) and the other with adjustable pots controls the old Bose subs.
I removed the Bose control part from that harness and nothing was connected to the factory white connector ( Bose amps).
I suspect the PAC unit has similar functions.
