Has anyone successfully deleted the F55 from a 2004? If so how was it done? I've talked to a few people from places like C&S Corvette, A&A Corvette, MCR Corvette, and Findley Chevrolet. Nobody has a definitive answer and they are unsure? They asked me to get back to them if I find the answer???? I hoping someone out there has an answer for me because 80 MPH comes up so fast and the car falls on it's face. Speed limit out where I live is 75 & 80 MPH on the highways and my car is maxed out, no passing for me. Thanks.
I finally got the F45/F55 deleted out of my 2004. It took a lot of digging around and I found Rich Sjoberg from Corvette Specialists. He is super knowledgeable with all Corvettes and knew just how to do it. He's been in business for many years, lots of corvettes in his shop and the shop is clean and professional looking. Lucky for me I saved the old ride control shocks and didn't throw them away as they are needed for the 2004 so the computer can see them before they are deleted. Rich was a lucky find for me and if you need Corvette work done he's the man.
There’s one here in Denver but I was not impressed.
