I apologize because I know this question has been asked before. I have a 2000 C 5, can the ECBM be repaired. I got a quote for
$2000 for a used ECBM with a 90 day warranty. I have scoured the forums and I do not believe the 2000 Vette is fixable. Is this true?
I wish somebody would offer this as a service for the 2000MY. I would happily ship my car across the country and pay whatever. Having aN immaculate $$$$ build….but with the ABS/Traction lights on all the time just SUCKS. I still love the car though
I have already had my ECBM (unsuccessfully) rebuilt twice so beware.

If you're willing to open your wallet then convert over to 01-04 as previously stated. Or was this just a lame excuse to post a pic of your car hoping someone would stroke your ego?
Both. Glad you like it, you can get there don’t give up.
But yes I would be willing to convert to 01+ but based on all of my research that is not feasible or easy and nobody seems to offer it as a service.
You just said you're willing to ship your car and pay whatever. How does that make the 01-04 swap not feasible? Check the first sticky in this section, call a Corvette race shop, and set it up. Just because you haven't put in the leg work doesn't mean it isn't feasible. My friend is having this very swap performed in his 2000 FRC by a local shop. It doesn't take rocket appliances.

Thanks in advance Matt
Where are you located? Do you have a Model M or V? I am in NJ with a Model V module from a 2000. It came as a spare with the car we bought and then sold. I never tested the module. If you are near my area you can install it and see if it works fine then I will sell for much cheaper then what you are seeing......Just an option..
Hi I have a 2000 roadster with 5200 miles on the clock, I believe the EBCM is a V code. My problem is I Live in Florida so I can not take you up
on your offer. Thank you very much for offering assistance. I am surprised with only 5200 miles on the clock that I am having this problem. thanks again

If you still have it I'd be interested .. I'm near boston .. but the g-fs family .. and our boat is in Pt Pleasant .. so we're down that way more often than not ..
the first Sticky listed above describes how to modity your ECBM using a 01-04 newer model ECBM
That is probably the best route in the long run. I also have a 2000 like the OP. HOWEVER-Everyone with an '01-'04 model, be advised; the '01-'04 model EBCM has also been discontinued, and the only ones available now are also used/rebuilt units costing between $1,200-$2,000, depending on source......

for helping....... Beau
Did you try to fix yours? With only 5k miles on it I supprised it broke and can't be fixed. Not exercising the abs pump can blow the relays which are replaceable.

Can you please tell me...
...is it ONLY ABS/TC lights or ABS/TC & Check Engine Light???
My state fails state inspection for Check Engine light. It's automatic failure.
I'm not sure what I'd do if it broke on mine and I couldn't get it inspected because of that...
