I just bolted these things up to the car. The ET Streets hook awesome. I nailed the throttle from a light with full tire pressure and the things hooked - NO SPINNING AT ALL - not even in first gear.
My car used to sping through first, second, and part of third - now, it just goes. I don't intend on driving around town on these, but it sure was fun.
Can't wait to see how they do on the track after a burn out and at 10 psi.
All of the CCW Packages are fantastic values and worth EVERY PENNY!! :yesnod:  :flag I have already run 2 of CCW's packages (Big Street & Road Course) for over 2 years now and I have to say that you CAN'T go wrong buying those products. :blueangel: Maybe sometime in the future I will also get the Drag package too!!
Wow, it's sounds like this is all I need to make my trips to the drags fun again. I was wondering about a suspension setup to help me hook up, but from what you're saying, this is all I need. Congrats! Glad you like them!

Re: CCW Drag Kit Rules!!! (SilverStateZ06)
Don't be afraid to drive them on the street a little also. I (and Gary Brown) drive our et streets and skinnines on the street and highways almost full time without any problems at all. Just don't get caught in a RAINSTORM! :nono:
SilverstateZ06, I don´t know how you were able to hook them on a normal street, I never got them to hook there. No chance.
But I wished I would :D
Other than that, it´s a  setup and I like it at the track.

BTW, BUCKMASTER, the grinding is done in a few minutes.
Not much grinding needed.......
Really no problem!!!!
If that´s the only thing that keeps you from ordering them.....then go for it, it´s so easy!!

I assume you got the 16 inch E.t. Street. You were able to bolt up the Rear tires/rims without any modifications? This drag kit is holding me back bigtime for the sole reason that I hear everyone talk about how "little" modifying is needed to make the 16inch wheel work in the back. Lemme know. Everyone talks about how great of a deal it is.

As for the install, at first I thought the control arm was rubbing and I grinded a little bit off of it. I then realized that it was not the control arm, but the cap on the end of the ball joint. I used a couple of well placed hits with a hammer and the cap went flat and cleared the wheel. I did the same on the other side.
Yes you can grind the top of the ball joint(what I did) or you can hit it with a hammer. It is really not as bad as that sounds.
