Default Glovebox light location
Not currently working, so I have no idea where it's located in my '98 C5? Felt around the edges of the interior of the box and am stumped at this point. Forum search was no help.
Please let me know where to look.

Is it as bad to remove as the vanity mirror lights?

Nah it simply pulls right out. Use gloves because they get hot fast.

Recommend putting these Auxito for all your interior 194 bulbs

Heat won't be a problem as it's burned out. That's why I couldn't find it... Thanks for the fix!

It is a pain in the butt to remove, though. Did it today and wound up busting the bulb. Ultimately got it out, but in the process blew the fuse and will have to replace tomorrow.

Well, that sux.

Looks like the PO removed the burned out one for me. Amazon replacement arrived today (THAT WAS FAST). Thanks for the link, JDM.
New one installed and back in business!

New one installed and back in business!

Glad you got it fixed. Replaced my fuse today and found the new LED bulb not working. Looked at the old and new together and found the new was not quite the same even though it was a 194. Ordered a new one and should have it in a couple of days. Good thing I don't open the glove box much.

Reminded me of the movie Thief with James Caan (1981)... The inner panel of the passenger door of his car flipped open revealing a large caliber handgun with spare mags, custom molded! Classic!
