Default Newly designed exhaust system

With Troy's permission this is a call for any one C5 owner in the south bay area of Los Angeles. Please reply by private email if you're interested in upgrading your stock exhaust system with a newly redesigned aftermarket system from one of the leading muffler manufacturers in the world. An attractive proposition will be offered to the selected owner. Thank you.

For over 1 year, I have asked & written many many times for a "sample" or test tubi exhaust, only to be ignored.

I bought the GHL's & LOVE them....

Why advertise for over 1 year when there was no product available?
And then when you have the product, why did you refuse to put it out there
in some test C5's for real end users?

Now you're doing this???? Why, because you haven't sold any?

Of course....

Boy, you're a tough bunch.
Some facts:
The earlier version of the C5 Tubi was expensive to ship because of its size and the distance from Italy. A new version is now in production and we have one of the first units right here ready to be installed.
We, at MENSI, did not advertize the C5 unit for more than a month last year; It may have been someone else.
The earlier unit was available, but no sound files were made.
This new unit will hopefully be installed on a stock C5 (if we can find a local candidate) with new pictures, before/after dynos as well as sound files so that serious advertizing on this forum and in other medias can be initiated. New brochures are being made for distribution.
Thank you for your patience.

Please be patient :)

Don't take offense to any of the ribbing. We have all been in the frying pan one time or another on the Forum.

Heck, if nobody takes you up on your offer and you consider shipping it. I will let it go head to head with my Magnaflows. :yesnod:

It's even worse here in the Midwest / Ohio. I wish Mallett would do one of these product test and I would be lucky enough to stumble on it.

Good point!!!! Whatever you do to make life more free'r and enjoyable... it's probably going to get banned in California anyways.

tubi:

My post was not actually pointing the finger at "you".
But, SOMEONE, has been advertising in Corvette Quarterly and other publications for over a year now.

I think they were in Michigan, and even their website was not working as well.

At that time I posed the same questions, wrote & faxed them, and even offered to try their prototype for a fee, and no reply....

To me, it was mind boggling as to why advertise, and not have the product available, or make any attempt to get them in a vendor's or end users hands...

Add the fact that they were charging like $1,500.00 for it too.....

I contacted you directly, finally heard back from you a few months later, returned your call and left messages on a number of times and you never called back. I see that as a indication of customer service. I'll stick with my Corsa system and cutouts. :flag

90Droptop, Indypace78,
I am really sorry about your frustrating experiences but I am not aware of either incidents. We stopped our own efforts when we realized the factory was way too busy with other applications. Things are different now, Tubi is eager and willing, unit is redesigned and lower priced. But rather than abuse Troy's and this forum's hospitality, I would like to get all the necessary "tools" ready before officially advertizing and selling this good unit. Thanks for understanding. :)
