Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)
If the 1997 - 2000 EBCM fails and cannot be fixed or replaced, will this cause state safety inspection failures?
If the EBCM fails, I believe the traction control and active handling stops working. ABS still functions though. Please confirm.

Disagree on the ABS still functioning. Lucky my state doesn't have inspections.

Yes.
You lose all 3 ABS, TC and AH.

Ouch! Thanks for the reply. Will avoid 2000 and earlier C5's.
