HI all:
This is probably an easy questions, but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I am installing a NX system with a progressive controller. I need to run a wire from the TPS Sensor to the controller to determine throttle position, easy right? What I am trying to find is the correct wire to tap. The wiring diagram says that the blue wire goes to sensor 1 and the pink wire goes to sensor 2. Which sensor wire do I tap into? What are the functions of the 2 sensors?
The TPS sensor is comprised of 2 separate simple potentiometers….TPS1 is a pull up circuit design going from around .75 volts to 4.5 volts or so as throttle is increased…TPS2 is a pull-down which goes the opposite direction as throttle is increased…there are 2 sensors for safety !!…those 2 wires are the signal wires…don’t know how they want you to wire that gadget.
