Interior Foot Well Lights
To add to my growing list of electrical gremlins i realized this morning that when my headlights are on, my interior Foot Well Lights are on. Is this normal?
My list of electrical gremlins:
1. When I open my door, the chime warning comes on , Key out of the ignition, headlights off.
2. Engine hood light inop.
3. Footwell Lights on when headlights are on.
4. Glove box light inop.
Is there any commonality with these issues?

when the chime goes, is there a message on the instrument panel/dic?
did a previous owner install extra footwell lights on the parking light circuit, some people like this??? They should be on the same circuit as the trunk lights. Do those work correctly?
Start with the easiest problems first... the glove box and hood. Bad bulb or no power? etc..

When the chime goes of there is no message on the DIC, but in the gauge cluster the Security message flashes.
I have a convertible, so will the trunk lite still be on the same circuit as the footwell lites?
OK, I'll check power to the hood lite and glove box and go from there.
