I have a nick Williams 102 throttle body. The sensor keeps going bad. I've replaced it with both aftermarket and oem ones and it will work a few weeks sometimes 2 months then just continues going into limp mode to the point where I can't drive it, it'll stay in limp mode. Any ideas on what's causing this?
What year is the car ???…first you have to determine what DTC’s (trouble codes) you have stored…also these sensors are electrical circuits so that has to be looked at before you replace any sensor…this may be an electrical issue.
03 with a 6.0...codes come back as the throttle body sensor... now I do have an adapter that goes from an 03 sensor to the 2010 sensor thats on my nw throttlebody...

You are in C6 Tech…your profile says it’s a ‘98 so if it’s an ‘03 what engine is in it with a 6.0 ??…can you please change your profile to reflect that because there are wiring differences year to year…when you start using these aftermarket TPS sensors the PCM is looking for certain voltages in determining if you have a TB issue…what DTC’s are you seeing ??…if you have either a scan tool to look at TPS voltages or a DVOM to look at these voltages that way not to much more help I can offer.
For one it's not my 98 I'm have a problem with that has a ls3 416...another is I'm not a mechanic was just looking for some strong advice...we picked up an 03 it has an c6 6.0 in it...our local ls shop closed which did a lot of work to this car so im just saying what I know and what I been doing to currently fix the situation...I appreciate your advice but you don't have to snoop around and be a dick about it....I'll have someone look into the electrical side of it...thanks
So you want help fixing your problem. But you don’t want someone knowledgable ‘snooping around’ for information that would help them to help you with your problem. Good luck
Unless it’s a seriously bad *** 6.0, you don’t need a 102mm throttle body. That 102 is difficult to tune for even super sharp tuners.
A GM 90mm LS2 throttle body might cost 5hp, but will be easy to tune and will likely solve all your issues.

Wow, dude. Never heard anyone accuse C5 Diag of being a dick about anything. He was asking questions to better help you. I wish you luck, but you'll get a lot more help here when you don't accuse people of being dicks.
