Oil Pressure Sensor Relocation & Alternative Sensor
Also saw some bits about using a sensor from a Buick Enclave instead? How much cheaper is the Buick part to bother with? Is it because it has a lifetime warranty but the Chevy one does not?
Anyone have recent leads on these parts?

Anyway, those sensors are 0-130 psi. The ecu is calibrated for that. Sadly a good 100psi sensor won’t read correctly.

The clue as many have noted, is the reading of 130 psi when the sensor breaks.

Ps. The Aeroquip hose is much more flexible, and less expensive ($14), than the Earls hose ($29) that comes with the “kit”.

I got a refund on the hose, so someone gets a deal. Just don’t plan on screwing in a gauge port!
