unwanted braking
Have a problem that just started. While driving my left front brake has activated and I get a code of C1282, If I turn off active handling all is ok but I get a message of Service active handling displayed. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and
what you did to correct it. Any help would be very appreciated. This is on a 2004 Corvette

That code equates to a YAW sensor issue

That code is DTC C1282 Yaw Rate Sensor Bias Circuit Malfunction. The yaw rate sensor is on the passenger floor under the carpet next to the tunnel and passenger seat. It is at a little hump in the carpet.

So do you think I should start by replacing the yaw sensor?
