Sven, if I were you I'd install it all yourself and that'd give you the money for headers! Heck, bring the stuff over to my garage and leave it here a week, I'll do it all for $400 :D

I'll be interested to see how your car performs.....I don't have headers either, i have stock cats, and stock mufflers, along with the TR 227/224 cam and TR/GTP heads and it seems to run well. Sounds like we have nearly identical setups except you have the CNC'd heads.

jon,

Next time I might take you up on your offer for mechanical work!

Have you dynoed your car? Since my setup appears to be very similar to yours, would be interested to see what kind of numbers you got with your mods.

Well, mine is a 6 speed where yours is an automatic. But through the totally stock exhaust (except xpipe welded in), it did 390rwhp.

Saving up for tuning and headers now.

 Even though mine is an A4, my cam is a little bigger and I'll have tunning......so I hope to get 370rwhp (maybe a little more) :D

We'll see next week. I'll post results!

How is your cam bigger?

370rwhp is gonna be tough on an A4 with stock exhaust.

Misread. Thought yours was the 224/224

Probably right on the numbers, but I hope it's close!

You Ba$t@rds!! :cuss

Gave in to peer pressure (again) and told Chris to throw in a set of LT headers.

You guys made it clear that if I wanted the best power gains from the H/C install I would need the LT headers as the stock exhaust manifolds would definitely be a bottleneck....

Going with the FLP headers. Hopefully this along with all the other mods will get me 370+rwhp and similar rwtq :reddevil

:seeya
