Changing oil pressure sensor....
Sup all, so question and seeing the hundreds of posts iam very surprised this hasn't been mentioned before. I have a 2002. Bad oil pressure sensor. Not uncommon for our C5s. BUT when changing out the sensor is there a filter screen down the sensor hole? Iam told by my brother he believes there is and therefore that will need to also be purchased and changed out at the same time. I guess the screen can get clogged and therefore cause the sensor to go bad or produce bad readings? I have looked all over the web and youtube, Iam not finding any mention about the filter screen and people changing it. Being you can't see down there and it isn't shipped with a new sensor, perhaps people all these years are unaware that it is down in that hole?

It hasn't been mentioned because there isn't a filter screen in the LS1 or LS6. I believe the filters are only in vehicles with AFM manufactured after 2005. And I don't think any if them are vettes.
