Clunking when braking
I have a track only C5 that I just completed some upgrades on:
-new SKF hubs
-AP brakes/Ferodo 1.11 pads
-spherical bearings
-all new ball joints/tie rod ends
When I apply brakes, I hear a loud “clunking” noise coming from front end (mostly right side, but both sides on occasion). I have disconnected sway bar with no change. It almost sounds like pads moving around. Any help would be appreciated.
