Help needed with key fob issue
I have several C5’s, but my 1999 is having issues with the key fobs:
1. Both fobs lose sync after about 10 minutes, both have new batteries and don’t lose sync if I sync to my 1998.
2. When synced, both fobs will lock doors, but will not unlock doors or upon trunk lid
3. Both interior door lock buttons work fine for locking and unlocking
4. Trunk lid opens with dash button
5. Tpms works fine
What I’ve tried so far:
1. New battery in car
2. New batteries in both fobs
3. Went through learning process with both fobs through DIC process
4. Cleaned all grounding posts throughout car
5. Checked all fuses
6. Checked connections at wireless receiver in drivers quarter panel
7. Checked wiring in both a A pillars, connectors are fine.used liquid electrical tape at both connecters. (Wiggled harnesses when trying to unlock fob, no change)
8. Sent in BCM for repair. ( no change )
9. Scan tool originally had the following codes when I started:
- B2282, B2284, U1064, B2283, B2285, U1064, B0851.
I cleared the codes and so far they have not come back.
About the only thing I have not done is ldcm and rdcm.
Any help would be appreciated.
