C5 Wheel Bearing Replacement
Hi everyone, I need to replace front wheel bearings on my 01 C5. I'm just looking for recommendations for a good OEM replacement. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I went with SKF house brand from Rock Auto. $120 a piece roughly. I did all four as the car was new to me and had a clipped VSS on the rear drivers side. Those clips that hold them to the spindle...GM WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I industrial zip tied mine to esnure they never get eatin again. Kind of unsightly with the wheel off...but beats doing a job twice

SKF bearings are very good, made in Sweden, and probably as good as, or better than, any other brand. Timken built their reputation on tapered roller bearings. Both are as good as, or better than, any other brand bearing. Can't go wrong with either.....
