Default Looking for experience with brake pads

I scored a pair of used front Brembo Monoblocks and 2 piece rotors (Brembo p/n 1M2.8013A2) for my C5 Z06.
Looks like they do not come with pads.
Hawk makes pads for the calipers (as does EBC and of course Brembo).
For street performance use and the occasional track day can anyone recommend Hawk pads and if so, which one?
Not worried about dust or noise. Full Billy Boat exhaust so the car is already quite noisy.

Thanks.

Joe

Power Stop seems to be one of the favorites amongst the C5 community. I installed a set immediately after I got my last C5 primarily due to the low dust feature. I'm happy with them and you should consider.

Does Power Stop make pads for Brembo GT Monobloc calipers? I'm not seeing any when I search.
I had Power Stop rotors and pads on my G37 until I did the Akebono upgrade. They weren't bad.

I've been very pleased with Hawk HPS pads. No noise, lots of stop. Dust about like oem.

My next set of pads will be EBC.
I had the dealer install EBC Red Stuff pads on a Ford sedan a couple of years ago. When the installation was complete, the mechanic came to ask how and where I found the pads, noting the car was now stopping in about a 1/4 of the distance it took on OEM pads. I have Green Stuff pads on my pick'em'up truck, only because they don't make a Red Stuff pad to fit it.

I have been using Hawk HP Plus pads since September 2013. Great braking authority street or track. They dust like any capable track pad. 19 Track days since.

I would suggest you consider Carbotech for street and track take a look at the XP8 compound.

CARBOTECH™ XP8™

A high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 200°F-1250°F+ (93°C to 676°C+). Carbotech™ XP8™ is the first of our racing compounds. Good initial bite at race temperatures, high coefficient of friction, excellent modulation and release characteristics. Extremely high fade resistance and very rotor friendly. Perfect for track day use with any tire and can still be driven safely to and from the track. Carbotech™ does NOT recommended XP8™ as a daily driven street pad due to elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotech™ XP8™ is a great compound on the front & rear of most open wheel and sports racers.
