3:73 rear end
I'm looking for a 3:73 rear end for my 02. Where is the best price and product? Should I be looking for a specific brand? Anyone who has had any experience with this please let me know.

Getrag is the only maker of rear ends for a C5, Motive Gears is the only maker of rings and pinions for the C5(as far as I know).
There are several ways that you can get 3.73 gears. You can buy a new complete rear from a Forum vendor this will cost you about $1695.00 outright (no Core needed). You can check the C5 Parts For Sale Section you can sometimes buy one used for $1000.00-$1100 for a unit that is in good shape. You can buy just the ring and pinion for $350.00-$400.00 and have it installed in your carrier, the labor should be about $200.00-$300.00 plus parts if the rear is already out of the car. Last but not least you can buy a rebuilt complete rear from a forum vendor for about $1195.00 plus a core.
