Hello,
I am currently installing a cam in my car and am questioning the valve springs I went with.
The cam is a BTR Road race cam - 235/250 .604"/.600" 113+4
The springs I bought are the BTR .630 lift platinium springs.
I know that they will work with the cam but I am not 100% sure they are the best selection for it.
I can't help but feel like I should've just gotten the .660 lift ones
Any builders have any insight as to if I will run into any issues with the .630 springs?
I do plan on running a litte bit of spray on the car at some point but nothing crazy. The car will be tracked occasionally but mostly street.
The heavier the spring, the quicker you have to replace them. I've always been of the mind to run just enough spring for the cam you have, the less pressure on the rest of the valvetrain the better. If BTR gave you the thumbs up, go have some fun!
