I have had the best luck with genuine AC/Delco batteries. I've had them last up to 7 years!! However, that was before I spent 6 months of the year in Florida. Batteries, Hell, ANYTHING electric, hates heat. So, I think my batteries lasting for 7 years is a thing of the past!

Just a suggestion - It sounds like you are not comfortable with doing the work yourself. While a battery replacement is a pretty straight forward job, you do need a few tools and some basic knowledge. Perhaps consider buying a battery from a place like Pep Boys who will install it for you. The brand of battery is not all that critical and any name brand 78 battery will likely serve you well for years.
