I am at a loss on my 2002 air conditioning system. I was getting heat on driver, cold on passenger. Replaced both driver and passenger actuators. Still a problem. Took to shop. They checked refrigerant and vaccum lines and said it was the climate control module. They did not charge since they did not fix it. Ordered a used climate control module, did not help. Still hot on driver, cold on passenger. However, a couple of times I will be driving and then both sides are cold. Next time I start it I get heat on driver, cold on passenger. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Had a similar issue on drivers side giving cold. Did a DIY mod with a small flexibly tube so it fit on my vacume, push the the tube through the drivers side vent until stop and turned on the vacume. It worked for me.
I will try that. Did you use just a regular vaccum?
Yes, just used the vacume for cleaning the car. Just do not force the hose past where it stops. For my issue, there must have been something preventing the actuary door from opening. Hope it works for you if you decide to do it.
arent the actuators electrical? Ie mixing cool and warm air is electrical. When air comes out of all vents that is a vacuum issue. I think the issues are confused
They are electric. When they go bad you will have codes that can be read via the DIC. So the OP should read the DIC and report what the codes are.
