03 convert -
My DIC is very dim lately during daylight...when you turn the headlights on, it gets brighter.
I assume (always dangerous), that a light sensor has failed. Any idea where is is?

And NO codes...

Low light quality can very well be due to a failing alternator/ poor battery connection and or bad battery . At least on all my cars it’s been the case over the years .

 

light sensor is above "1 fuel" button near dash. Also changes the other lights like mph/kph..

u can cover it with finger or shine flashlight on it.
