DIC help!!
So my DIC started randomly scrolling through all the info that it monitors and I had no control from the right side dash buttons. I assumed that the button cluster must be bad so I replaced it.
This did not fix the problem, Same thing, I see if I have a high or low tire pressure it flashes across the screen, but I can not push the gages button and read tire pressures or anything else for that matter.
The DIC seems to be accepting all the info I just have not control of it. I can't even look through to view the miles on the car.... Not sure what to do?? I may be looking to sell the car sometime and I can't even show a potential buyer the mileage on the car!! I know I can buy a whole new cluster but that will eliminate my mileage reading? Is there anyone that can refurbish the existing cluster to get the DIC working properly?

First thing I'd do is disconnect the battery and let the car "power down" all the modules. The longer the better----- like disconnect everything it before you go to bed.
Reconnect the battery and see if a "re boot" makes a difference. We forget that these computers were designed in the mid 90's.
