Yep, found a good local place to install heads. Before this, I had to drive to my favorite shop, A&A corvette specialties. A&A is still the best but the drive is just too much for me. The local Las Vegas F-body has a shop and they charge very little money for the install. For example, $350 for the cam, $450 for the heads. Of course, you bring all the parts and gaskets for the work. My stage 1 heads are being replaced by MMS stage 2 heads. It should be done tomorrow
A little snag at the install today, the used MMS heads were shimmed like crazy under the spring seats. Some of them have as much as 6 shims  I guess the MMS valves are not stock heights? And I don't want to use the SLP spings the came with it. I trust my REV duals Andy putted in for my stage I. It was hard to make sure that the spring install was within spec.
But good old Andy at A&A come through for us. Without hesitation he help us over the phone, on a Saturday, to step us through the install to make sure everything was perfect. Andy, you are the man!!!
So for those of you that live in Las Vegas or nearby, we have a good, cheap place to install heads, cam, and many other performance parts for cheap. Also, better watchout for cars with lv-fboby stickers on them. Lot's of them are have at least a cam in it. :steering:
Sounds like a fair deal to me. Installing heads is a piece of cake...IMO you are throwing $450 away paying for easy stuff like that, but time is money and I know some people dont enjoy working on cars.

I am with you on that man. But I did it for the fact that I have too little experience opening up the motor. It is nice to have experience people do it with yah and learn it. Also they have a lift and air tools. Much better then doing it on jack stands and hand tools in my little garage. Besides, they let me stay in the help out. So next time, I can do the head swap myself
Also, compare to what a lot of people are charing, $450 is really really cheap.
