Default battery issue

hey, i have a 1999 c5 corvette. to keep the story short my battery died on me and it wasn't turning on my car the gauge cluster wouldn't turn on the gauge needles wouldn't even move and when I tried turning it on I got a "low voltage" on my car as well so I took the battery out and went to my nearest AutoZone as they have a battery tester and it said it was dead so I tried to get a new battery the same one that was previously in my car as the previous owner added that battery and I never had issues with it but they didn't have the same one so they gave me something else that was" similar" ill attach a picture below but its not working it barley turns the car on I still get " low voltage" and "reduced engine power" if the car does turn on but not without struggling

sorry that this was long ill appreciate any response on what type of battery I should get that runs the vette smoothly - thank you have a bless day

That battery is adequate for operating your car. Did you fully charge it? They often have been sitting for a while at the parts store.
My wife's start/stop feature still didn't work with a brand new Optima Yellow top until I left it on the charger overnight.

Did they charge the battery and did they do the installation or did you? The battery — fully charged — should be more than adequate for the car. If you have a volt meter, see what the voltage reads at the battery terminals.
I’ve found on my’99 that every battery disconnect and reconnect results in something I don’t anticipate. More than once I’ve done it twice to clear an issue.

thank you, guys, for replying to me I have made sure the cables are clean and made sure it was charged by doing a test however my car is still cranking when trying to start it. I took out the battery and put it back in my car will start and drive normally however when I turn the car off and tried starting it again the second time it says "Pull key wait 10 sec" so I would turn the car off and wait 10 seconds and turn it on the third time however the car would barely start and if I do I would get flashes with the engine light on and the "check gauge light on" as well my DIY saying "reduce engine power" and " transaction control off" and I can hear the engine running sluggish so idk what wrong now. ( I forgot to mention I left the light inside my car on for a whole day my mistake and then the next day I tried turning my car on on the first try it wasn't turning on so then I tried the second time and it would turn on however after that day my car wouldn't and the battery died and It no longer could be charged, as well when I try turning on only the electrical stuff like my gauge cluster it wouldn't move and if it did it would take a long time for the gauge needles to activate as well the check engine light is either flickering"

again thank you everyone and sorry that this was long idk what to do or what's wrong with it atm if anyone has advice on it I would appreciate it so much

Failing ignition switch comes to mind.
Search the forum, there is lots of info about those switches.
