Last month I bought an Interstate battery from Costco.
It did not come with a lift strap. I asked the salesman where the strap was and he told me they no longer send them with the new batteries.
Apparantly they went cheap and saved big$$ with a strap delete.
I emailed the company and they were no help,
It has come down to that !
They've been doing that with Costco batteries for several years now. All you need is a small flathead (or a key if you're in the tire center waiting to pay...) and you can pull the strap and transfer it your new one. They don't give a crap, but it makes all the difference to you
On my last Costco battery run, a few batteries had the strap, while most did not. Guy behind the counter did not seem to mind at all when I transferred the strap from one battery to another. I tried finding them on the google -- no luck anywhere. Must cost the maker all of .25¢ or .50¢
