Default TPMS and OAT incorrect readings

My 2001 is having a new electrical problem. New tire-pressure sensors were installed a year ago. The battery died recently, probably due to a problem with the under-hood lamp. I removed the battery and had it checked-told it was good. I had a SMOG check done (California), and it failed. Was told I need to put 100 miles on the car so that the ECM has enough data for the test equipment. On the ride home I noticed that the OAT (outside-air temperature) reading was about 10 degrees high and the left-front tire-pressure reading went from 5 psi to 12 psi high. I disconnected the battery again, recalibrated the pressure sensors and drove the car about 60 miles. Also disconnected the under-hood lamp. Still have the problems. Any ideas what could be causing these problems?

Just curious, how do you recalibrate the TPMS?

For the OAT, unplug the sensor and clean the connection. They can pick up a lot of crud/corrosion. (It's under the passenger side facia)

Default Both problems fixed

Both problems turned out to be caused by faulty sensors. $100 for the TPMS sensor and installation and $10 for the OAT sensor.

The TPMS sensors aren't recalibrated. They are relearned. My wrong choice of words.
