Lazy Headlight
Hello Hive,
My 2003 AE gets little usage (20 years old and only 46K on the clock) and very seldomly driven at night. Maybe well over a year since a night-time drive. Almost a "garage queen."
I am trying to enjoy her a bit more this summer but had a weird instance last week and then again tonight. When I activated the headlights last week, they did NOT pop up. After several cycles of attempting to get them to respond, they finally came up and worked as normal. I cycled them several times that evening and they responded correctly each subsiquent time. Moving forward to this Tuesday night, I switched them on and only the right bucket raised. After another cycle, they both responded. I again cycled them several times upon returning home, each time successfully.
QUESTION: is there a lubrication point I need to address or is it electronic failure on the very near horizon.
