Most of us know how to find our codes and look up what they mean. My question is is there a list of codes that each module CAN produce? I'm asking because after much trouble shooting of my ac blower operation and not getting any codes at all either in the DIC or my scanner I have concluded that there is a vacuum line that is either loose or broken. My specific question is would a vacuum leak give a code? I'm thinking not hence the entire code list for the hvac module
The service manual index has a list of codes. Seems like that should be the complete list, otherwise if an unlisted code came up the tech would have to hunt in that section of the service manual.
This is one of the .pdf files from the downloadable manual pinned in the C5 general area:
Both are great lists so if they are a complete listing and I get none of the hvac codes it has to be either the vacuum leak or maybe the controller, while changing images in the mode selector setting isn't actually signalling the actuators.............but that would trigger a code..?

A vacuum leak will not set a code…the HVAC module and other ones only know voltage…they can’t read pressure, vacuum, or temperature directly…a scan tool interprets those 3 as a voltage.

I didn't think a vacuum leak would set a code because it's not an electrical malfunction and since I have no codes I'm even more convinced that's where my issue is. That has to be the easiest to diagnose as all it takes is a smoke machine.....scheduled to have that done on Monday. It hit 105 here today. Left the garage (shade) after running the AC. The ceramic tint helps big time and the car stayed cool. After being parked for 30 minutes though it was warm when I got back in.......

Wasn’t your issue an airflow problem ???…I think you said you had a scan tool…with the engine at idle what are your long and short term fuel trims…with a possible vacuum leak I would expect your fuel trims to be elevated…if fuel trims are elevated raise the RPM and see if short terms go negative and long terms slowly decrease signifying a leak.

Initially yes but I noticed that no matter what mode I was in the cfm's never changed and remained what I consider low at around 430cfm. When I blocked the defroster and passenger vents the cfm at the center vent went up to 545cfm. So I figured it's not that the motor is weak it's that all the vents are opened at the same time. If the smoke test shows no leak or leaks then it's back to square on on the motor. I carry my cfm meter with me in the hopes of bumping into another C5 owner and ask if he minds me checking his air flow......
