Hello,
New member, just got my first Corvette about a week ago, 1997 C5, 90,000 miles, wait now 90,300 obviously I'm loving to drive a Corvette. Got a few upgrades in mind; headlights, interior lights, marker lights. I joined the forum for good advice from experienced owners, do's and don'ts are welcome. I do have mechanical experience, probably just enough to be dangerous, so I'm not afraid to ask if I'm not sure.

Welcome and have fun with your 'toy'. The C5's have many electrical anomolies and a wise previous CF member (RIP) electrical engineer gave me advice that i follow; do not do anything electrical (even changing a bulb) without first removing the battery ground wire.
