C5 Corvette knock sensor code
Hello to all I'm having an intermittent issue with a knock sensor code that will illuminate the check engine light it will happen usually once every month ,,
month and a half as soon as I go to the DIC the code is in history my question is shouldn't the code be current if it's set the check engine light also I am using high quality gas and the car seems to run perfectly fine with no engine pinging and no reduced power any input would be appreciated thank you Gary

They are pretty easy to replace if you have basic tooling skills. Many videos on YouTube show how to remove the manifold and replace the knock sensors. There's quite a few gaskets and sensors and stiff I'd replace while in there so do your research
