Checking the airgap on my clutch, I determined I needed a 5/32" spacer. That will get me the gap recommended by Monster (.08" - .1").
I water jet a spacer, installed it and bolted up the torque tube (without prop shaft). The gap measures just where it should but the end of the slave cylinder tube (the part the bearing slides on), seems to be very close to touching the hub of the clutch disk. The disk probably get even closer when the pressure plate pulls back to let the disk float.
Any idea how much gap there should be? Can you cut the end of the tube to increase the gap? Cutting the tube shouldn't be a problem since the bearing never gets that far after installation.
