2001 Engine delayed gauge action and Start
Upon turning key to on and engine start gauges and radio have delayed action. turning key to start may have no action or slight engine bump or crank. Back to off and then to on with a delay for gauges to cycle and then to start position starts the engine,

ALWAYS, ALWAYS Check the condition of your battery cables first!!. Clean and tight (11 ft/lbs) If that's not the issue, Ide suspect the ignition switch and or a poor connection inside the ignition switch female connectors!.
Look for spread female pins inside those ignition switch connectors.
