C1226 Code
The C1226 Code came up today C% 2002) R F wheel speed sensor. Will check connections first (when I have access to a lift) but is there a way to keep the warnings from coming up on the DIC or stopping them at all? Keep getting Service ABS, Service Active Handling.

Uh oh... Sounds like your EBCM might be going out. The 2001-2004 years have a more finnicky EBCM than the 97-00 but they are at least repairable / rebuildable. Hard to diagnose stuff over the internet but its a possibility. The electrical gremlins on the C5 know no bounds.

There is a good chance that the wheel speed sensor harness connection is not making a good connection. Same thing has happened to me on each front wheel. Same error code. I disconnected the connector at the wheel/control arm and moved the terminal pins a little bit to make a better connection. Problem solved now for three years.

C1226 is the right front wheel sensor. It is usually the connection between the hub wire and the chassis wire. You can get to it by jacking the car up and removing the wheel. It's right there behind the hub right in front of you. If it's anything obvious just fix it. If it's not immediately obvious, clean the contacts by taking them apart, removing any corrosion and putting it back together.
The cheaters way (moi?) is to swap the chassis wires from left side of the car to the right side. Just the disconnection and re-connection on the other side is enough to get you another few years before you have to really clean up the connections or replace the wires.
