I have suffered from a slow loss of air in one of the tires. I tried soapy water and it reliably found a bubbling area around the valve stem. Does it indicate a leak when I removed the nut, and it bubbles like crazy?
I mean even if I have the nut on, I can see it slowly bubble and hear it on a quiet night.
So I bought a TPMS hardware kit that fits C5s https://www.autozone.com/engine-mana...007/904105_0_0
I replaced the nut, tightened it, and replaced the Schrader valve. Still leaks...
I guess that indicates the rubber O ring is the culprit? Gotta bring it to a tire shop to replace it? Cuz the O ring lives inside the tire

The o ring is replaceable and available at most auto parts stores. If you're handy and have a large enough "C" clamp you can probably compress the sidewalls enough to remove the tpms and replace the o ring.
