Spark Plug Wire Resistance
I replaced my original AC Delco stock wires with new AC Delco wires as I had 1 bad wire. The measured resistance of each old wire was around 200 ohms per wire. The new stock wires each measured around 700 ohms. I am not sure why GM changed to higher resistance wires. Any thoughts? Anyone know the specs(resistance) of the Taylor wires?

I used Taylors on my '99 coupe. Interesting observation- The Taylors were anywhere from 175-300 ohms per wire. My stock GM wires on my 2002 Z06 are around 200 ohms also. I agree- keep the factories no percievable loss what so ever!

You're measuring the resistance at a low DC voltage. In ignition systems, the AC flows mostly near to the outer surface of the conductor due to something known as the "skin effect". One is not a measure of the other. Snake Oil salesman often imply that low resistance makes for a better peforming wire hoping that you don't understand that particular aspect of the physics.
