Default New engine coolant leak from head gasket

Hello all, I recently installed the 383 stroker motor I had for sale here a while ago, and it runs beautifully. However, before the initial startup, I noticed coolant pooling between the head and block on the front of the motor, both sides. I'll attach a picture to show where exactly. The heads are notched, and the gaskets are notched style gaskets, so that shouldn't be a problem. After a warmup/cooldown cycle, no coolant seems to be leaking. The exhaust did not smoke as if it was burning coolant, and the oil seems uncontaminated. More experienced mechanics than me: do some head gaskets not fully seal before a heat and cooldown cycle? Never had this issue before and want some advice before I go straight to taking the motor apart.

Before putting a wrench on your engine, verify where the leak is coming from. You should be able to rent this tool from one of your local auto parts stores
