I thimk the 295 on a 9½" wheel would have to run a lower air pressure to get the proper footprint on the street/track. At proper air pressure (31-33) you would be wearing the tire more in the center and not getting the entire tread to lay down to the road surface! Better get the 10½" wheel or smaller tire!
NOW, some tire manufacturers are different. I am referring the the Goodyear F1 Supercar 295 which I have! You just may find another brand that will be ok with the 9½" wheel. Check with the tire guy where you want to purchase the 295, he'll know! :thumbs:
