I'm putting my motor back together after a cam swap and adding the timing chain dampener for good measure. I've been researching for awhile but can't seem to find the torque spec for the bolts.
Anyone have any idea? I'm assuming I should also throw some loctite on them as well, correct?
If you are putting a stock GM bolt (torque to yield) you would use a new bolt and torque to 37 lbs and then turn it another 240 degrees. It is easier to use a degree wheel to measure and then have a 2-4 ft heler bar to get there
Thank you, I have those already. Makes no mentions of the specs for the dampener though.

Thanks but that seems excessive for two small bolts. I understand the TTY and process for the head bolts. This a new part that wasn't in the engine previously so they are new bolts.
