Another seat thread
Hey all, I’ve had enough of the stockers in my 02 z and have been researching options for what is a primarily street driven car that I want to track with more frequency in the future. I’m 6’5” and 240ish, debating on getting bigger. I’ve heard some suggestions on the track fb page but curious from y’all.
I think amt mounts are a must but which seats fit the bill? I’m fine with buckets because getting in and out is already a chore at my size. Seems like there aren’t really a lot of budget options and any active thread with a lot of info was full of race-only expensive seats.
Would something like a race quip be reasonable? Don’t know much about NRG. Another option is the more entry level OMP’s or Momo’s that are around $500 I’m curious about. Kirkey’s seem like a good option but have 0 knowledge on aluminum seats or comfort. Obviously trying a seat in person would be great but I have no idea of any shops in south Texas that sell them. I’m in San Antonio

100%, the stock seats are such garbage but even c7’s can be pricey and at my height I need something aftermarket to give more space for sure. Hopefully some folks can chime in.
