Have a related LED light conversion question. A friend of mine wants to convert his 2006 Silverado over to all LED external lights. Does anyone here know if the hyper flash harness we can install in our C5’s will also fit the Silverado? Hoping so, would prefer the harness over font to all resistors. TIA!!

The Silverado is almost certainly wired differently. There is no reason why you couldn't make your own harness, as I did for the C5. You just need a wiring diagram of the Silverado and a $5 flasher from the auto parts store that doesn't have the bulb warning feature. Oh ... and someone that knows how to decipher the wiring diagram.
I converted my 2004 Silverado over, but I did it in stages. If they buy full LED taillight housings with built in LED’s those come with a resistor that is pretty easy to install. When I moved to the front turn signals that’s when I avoided resistors and bought a new plug in flasher relay for under the dash, took a few minutes and solved the hyper flash. But now companies like Headlight Revolution sell turn signals with built in resistance instead of a separate resistor, which I would have done had they been available. Word of warning, the right rear brake like controls the cruise control and will need a resistor to make it work. Tell them to search on Headlight Revolutions website for the lights they will need. Costs more than Amazon, but it is all top quality. Plus they actually have a phone number and real people to talk to.
