Issue on install engine by the top (mn6)

Default Issue on install engine by the top (mn6)

On my mn6,I'm reinstalling engine by the top cause no lift,I have mantic triple disk, well centered,I cannot engage completly the engine in the torque tube (need engage half a inch more),I think everything is in line,Any advice ?

Make sure all the pressure is released at the clutch slave, that was a issue for me. Crack the bleeder

Remove the torque tube, install engine then install the torque tube. I realize that you probably don't want to drop the rear cradle but it will keep you from damaging the pilot bearing. Just my opinion, of course.

I changes the slave in same time, no issue on it

Well, as i'm on the floor, without lift, and had already drop the front cradle, it's not easy... But perhaps the safe solution...
Have to think about

Thanks for the idea !
A lot of people change clutches on the ground, in fact it may be easier to do that way. I'm sure you can raise the car enough to clear with Jack stands, and you only need to pull the drivetrain back enough to get the engine on its mounts. Good luck with your build!

As you are trying to get the last 1/2 in in ,have someone push on the clutch pedal and it will fall right in

If you have the clutch line the hooked up it's another way to release the pressure from the slave hitting the pressure plate.

Ok, it was not in my mind but in a certain way, that's make sence,
thanks for explaination
(Have to keep working this weekend, so, i will try monday night, or perhaps sunday end of afternoon if i'm not toi tired, cause car is a little far from my home and workplace)
