C5 will not start
Hi - Thanks for taking a look here
I have a C5 that will not start
Good battery, dash lights come on till i engage the starter then all dash lights go out.
rocked the car in gear to free starter.
Could be the security sensor. but security light is solid not blinking.
Looking for somewhere to take C5 to in the St louis area. Or make house calls
Any and all help welcome.

Andy, is this a daily driver that just is dead today? Been in a barn for 20+ years and you're restoring it...?
If you know the battery is good look for loose connections.
You did load test the battery, right?

what happens when you turn the key? is the starter locked up? will it turn over at all? do you hear a click in the passengers side foot well when you turn the key?

You state good battery but have you had it load tested? Could just be loose battery cables or loose cable connections at the starter solenoid or the ground cable connection. The dash lights going out is normal as the Ignition switch provides power to certain modules needed to start the car and turns power off to things not needed while the car is cranking over.
