After cylinder #7 broke a ring land, my son & I rebuilt the LS6 in our 2001 Z06. However, now it's back in the car and running we've had repeated P0332 codes from the first time we drove it. We put in a new harness (twice), new sensors (twice) & checked for crimped wires - it all checks out: resistance & response to tapping the block with a hammer are as expected - then we drive it 30 miles, the CEL comes on & we're back with a P0332 code.
We've been careful torquing the sensors down to 180 inch/lbs.
Is there another cause for P0332, other than bad sensors or wiring?

I had the same issue and replaced the rear sensor twice and harness once. The last time the code returned I cleaned the contacts on the PCM side. That was 6 months ago and the code has not returned. That might not fix your problem but it's worth a shot.
Which sensors are you using? Some brands are better than others.
First set were branded Dorman. 2nd set were Amazon no-name knock offs. We've tested every sensor using a DMM for resistance and AC voltage generation prior to installation.
Might go to the dealer....though I'm getting sticker shock at their prices: $100+ for a simple low-tech commodity part!

Will give it a try. You just used contact cleaner on the PCM & plug?

I used Progold. It's a contact cleaner/restorer. I just used it on the harness connector that goes to the PCM. I didn't touch the PCM connector. I used a hard bristle brush to try to wipe the contact with the progold. So far it's worked for me. Good luck.
For anyone finding this in the future: the PCM contacts were fine (despite the huge amount of scale on the outside) - OEM knock sensors from GM Parts Giant cured the problem.
I've read more posts like this, unless you have a failed knock sensor they don't seem to be worth the trouble to replace. IMHO if you ask as long as I'm in there should I replace, forget it.
