So to update, I replaced all the before mentioned parts. Which I planned on doing regardless, just not so soon. It definitely stays cool longer and is cooling way more efficiently however temps still creep up to 226 and 230’s fans are operating as they should in sequence high and low. My issue is I’ve never seen a vehicles coolant temperature needle move up and down so often. Maybe it’s just this Z06 and time to buy HP tuners and have the fans come on at 220 if I want the needle to stay. But that would leave me in the opposite position where it would be just coming on and cooling with the needle dipping. Any tips or ideas?

I adjusted my fan temps in the s/w. With A/C not engaged, coolant temps stay right around 200 degs.

Also should note the temp gauge in the car is more sensitive in the upper half of the display so needle movement will be more exaggerated in the upper half.

If you don't want to mess with the s/w, there are aftermarket hardware solutions to control the cooling fans.

In my ol Camaro, I wired up one of the cooling fans to use a switch. Just have to remember to shut it off when eng is shut down. When A/C is turned ON below ~35 MPH, it should be turned ON. Once vehicle is above abt 35 MPH you should turn fan OFF. Kind of a pain and easy to forget. That's why I elected to have the computer deal with it on the Vette.

Peak LS temperature is 330 to 500
