Default ac kit for my 97 base

getting close to summer and it's just about time to do the ac compressor kit job. I have a four seasons fos5371nk kit and they say there is 3 oz. of pac in the compressor now. not real sure but I think I remember there is about 9oz total in the system. would 3 in the dryer and 3 in the condenser along with the 3 in the compressor do the job? getting tired of adding a couple cans every summer. last time I put the ultra v flashlight on the compressor it looked like a Christmas tree. already flushed the condenser and the little white filter was spotless. have been using the gauges and vacuum for years it's just time to make the switch now. thanks

I have posted this guideline document from AC Delco a few times. It should answer your questions about oil.

Alternatively, if you have replaced everything already and have no oil in the system, you can just put the entire oil charge in the compressor. Start the car, turn on the a/c, and let it run at idle for a few minutes. This is how it was done when they built your car in Bowling Green.
