Did you use a transverse spring compressor?

Been a while since I pulled the OEM spring, what exactly are we looking at in your picture besides one of the brackets? If that's the spring going into the bracket, which I think it is, there's nothing on the other end to line up...the spring should go a long ways past that bracket. Did you maybe buy a broken spring? Maybe more info or better pictures?

I wasn’t sure if there was anything else I’d need to take a picture of. My new leaf spring lines up with only 1 bracket and im wondering if it’s just fully decompressed from having sat. After some digging I had found another forum member had the same issue and decided to jack up the right and left sides to compress the spring and guide it into the right spot. Im currently prepping for that.

it looks like I’m getting them closer but time will tell!

Due to the amount of arc in the spring it needs load on both sides to get the pads to line up correctly. As the spring relaxes the rubber mounts get closer to the center.

I ended up getting it in, it was just a little sketchy.

Ahhh I see, yeah the spring is basically a "frown" shape and the weight of the vehicle flattens it out, so you need to compress it to get it in (or drop lower control arm on the hub end). You got it! You'll find the rear spring is much easier and just drops right out because it runs under the control arms instead of on top. With longer bolts, it'll be completely unloaded when jacked up haha
