Security light on dash will not turn off
I recently programmed a replacement key for my 2003 C5 Corvette and now whenever I start the car, the "Security" light comes on the dash and remains on the entire time I am driving. Is there a way to reset this?

Pages 13-14 have troubleshooting information related to the security light illuminating.
(document from 2004 information, your 2003 may be different)

Thanks for your reply and input. I tried disconnecting the battery as you described, but unfortunately, that did not clear the security light. The good news is that it did clear a different annoying message that I was getting, so was still beneficial. Thanks again for your assistance!
