Hi guys, I have a 1999 c5 corvette that I have long tubes, cold air and I installed a btr stage one cam kit in along with ls7 lifters. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to measure the pushrod length. Anyone around Dracut Massachusetts want to give me a hand? Slight ticking and it’s very annoying, let me know

Do you have a Comp Cams measuring tool? If not there is another way, but the tool is the best way to go.
There’s a lot of videos on this, but these help me the most. They all have the same message, but different delivery. The third video at the bottom shows you how to measure both with a length checker, or with a wrench.
Just remember, a full turn of the rocker nut turns the rocker down 0.078”, or 78 thousandths of an inch. The LS7 lifters use preload between .050” and 0.100”. So if you have the rocker at zero lash, three quarters of a turn on the nut would be 0.058”, or 0.078” on a full turn. That puts the preload in the safety zone.
